Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet Tuesday in regular session.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Jefferson Elementary Center. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed online.
The board will begin with multiple recognitions of band students for recent accomplishments and a proclamation of Music in Our Schools Month.
The board also will receive reports from the Student Advisory Council and the realignment of workforce timeline.
The board will receive updates on the middle school summer band schedule, solar projects, dual credit, Biology II standards and the Wood County Technical Center.
The board also will meet in executive session to consider the paid suspension of an employee.
