PARKERSBURG, WV – Emerson Elementary School and The Links at Woodridge officially signed a Partner In Education agreement yesterday, marking the beginning of a collaborative relationship designed to support student success, strengthen community ties, and foster meaningful educational experiences. The partnership is facilitated through the Partner In Education program of the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley, which connects local businesses with schools throughout the region.

Emerson Elementary School, part of Wood County Schools, serves students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and is known for its commitment to academic growth, student achievement, and community engagement. Through this partnership, Emerson Elementary will work alongside The Links at Woodridge, an 18-hole golf course and event venue located just south of Parkersburg in Mineral Wells, to enhance educational opportunities and reinforce the importance of community involvement in schools.

“Being able to be a partner in education with The Links at Woodridge is an honor for Emerson Elementary School,” said Principal Jeff Hardman. “They have worked hard at improving and growing their business and I know they will take that same hard work and dedication in helping Emerson Elementary be the best it can be.”
