Wood BOE meets Tuesday
PARKERSBURG - The Wood County Board of Education will meet in regular session Tuesday to recognize student achievements and approve personnel items.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at the Wood County Schools Central Office at 1210 13th Street in Parkersburg. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed online.
The school board will recognize the Williamstown High School girls track team and boys tennis team as state champions, and will recognize the nominees and winner of the Wood County Schools Service Personnel of the Year.
In addition to personnel and financial items, the board will vote on the unpaid suspension of an employee and will discuss teacher recruitment and incentives.
